Hatha Yoga is about bringing balance to the body, breath, mind and spirit. It is a slow-paced class that offers basic yoga poses (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), relaxation techniques and meditation. Benefits include: Calmer Nervous System Healthier Circulatory System Stronger Respiratory System Smoother Digestion Better Sleep Improved Focus and Clarity of Mind This class is good for all ages and skill levels and includes pose modifications. Yoga teacher, Carmen Watkins, is certified in Children’s Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga and began teaching 4 years ago.
